Edge Of The West returns to the historic Red Dog Saloon for a night of outlaw hippie country rock, dancing, debauchery and adventure. Based in Santa Cruz, Edge of the West features accomplished road warrior musicians with deep resumes backing stars of Americana, jamband, bluegrass, rock and country. In Edge of the West they combine these various influences and experiences together and bring the audience along for a ride. 

Hidden away in Virginia City, a place known for mining, ghost stories and Mark Twain, sits one of the most influential landmarks of the psychedelic era in the 1960s, the Red Dog Saloon.When it opened in June of 1965, the Red Dog Saloon became the provenance of much of what and who we know of the San Francisco sound, the counterculture musical phenomenon that dominated the decade.
